The key objective is to lead and manage all the internal IT service provision, with a strong knowledge of technology infrastructures and continuous IT improvement.
The position will also take a lead in a number of exciting new business wide system implementations as well as leading some new developments to support the entire IT infrastructure.
To have a wide understanding of IT developments and technologies including web and the opportunities that they offer.
Responsibility for the delivery of IT Services to the different business units.
Responsibility for cyber and data security across the business.

Responsibilities:
Support business areas to form and frame their requirements for change and oversee adoption.
Responsibility of IT procurement and the IT budget.
Responsible for leading the Change Board to ensure that all business stakeholders are aware and support changes before they are made to avoid unintended consequences.
Support the financial audit process and maintain other accreditations such as Cyber Essentials and PCI DSS when required.
Oversee all complex service providers ensuring service level agreements are in place both externally and internally.
Support the Digital Transformation Team as their developments transition from the project environment to business as usual support.
Promote continuous professional development, teamwork, coach and guide all team members.
Strong leadership, organisation skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
Identifying any areas for improvement including service, process and procedural.
To manage IT assets to minimise business risk and ensure effective business continuity plans in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
To plan, develop, implement and administer systems for acquiring, storing, processing, retrieving and presenting data including CRM systems.
Support a portfolio of projects, ensuring that resource demands, deliverables, budgets, risks and timescales are understood and managed.
Responsible for the technical elements of Information Security and Data Protection disciplines within the business. Working in collaboration with the Internal Data Protection Team, ensuring that our security and risk exposure in managed, as well as ensuring that we meet our legislative and contractual information security obligations.
Utilising your knowledge of technology infrastructures, you will be able to maintain and appreciate the customer service and strategies implemented. Being able to understand cloud services to ensure the quality of service is adhered to with being able to manage and influence throughout.
Knowledge and experience:
Experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
Excellent knowledge or technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems.
You must be passionate about providing high service levels and think of end users as customers.
Logical approach to all business standards.
Strong contract management skills
Ability to manage teams and drive them to perform at a high level.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure and maintain focus on all areas of responsibility concurrently.
Technically competent to understand modern IT infrastructure and internet technologies. Including Oracle (JDE), VPN administration and monitoring. Network concepts include cloud services, WAN, LAN, DHCP, SSL, and IP Routing and Switching.g
Understanding of methodologies and practices and up to date with IT trends and emerging technologies.
